Travel retail exclusive for Cockburn’s port

Cockburn’s port is marking its bicentenary year with a series of special format bottle packs and limited edition travel retail exclusive gifts.  The limited edition magnets, which are now available in travel retail stores, come in three different designs and also double as coasters for port glasses.

Cockburn’s bicentenary has been doubly celebrated by the Cockburn’s boat team which sailed to a glorious victory at the Rabelo boat race, held in Porto on the June 24 every year.  The race sees rival port houses competing against each other on the River Douro. The race coincides with the biggest event on the Porto calendar, the São João festival, which attracts tourists from across the globe to an enormous firework display and subsequent celebrations.

This coaster-magnet is available with the travel exclusive 1L format bottle of Cockburn’s Special Reserve.

Founded 200 years ago, Cockburn’s is owned and managed by Symington Family Estates, port producers for five generations since 1882 with brands such as Graham’s, Cockburn’s, Dow’s and Warre’s.  The family is the largest vineyard owner in the Douro Valley with 1,006 hectares (2,486 acres) of vines at 27 quintas.
