Designs that maximise the ‘opening experience’ for consumers will be the key theme of rigid box specialist Pollard Boxes’ stand at Packaging Innovations, Birmingham NEC, 24-25 February 2016.
The company will display a range of solutions that enable products to be revealed gradually, helping to create a sense of excitement and anticipation among the recipient and in this way contribute to the overall brand image.
“We have had many enquiries recently from companies who are seeking ways to make the most of the opening experience,” explains Pollard’s sales development manager Ian Bason.
“This is of course a major requirement for a gift pack but this type of packaging also provides reassurance of the appropriateness of their purchase to consumers buying products for themselves, and this is particularly vital for internet sales.”
The Pollard stand will feature a number of bespoke-designed packs for products as diverse as luxury chocolates and exclusive scarves. The company’s CAD team will also be displaying several concept formats to demonstrate the different ways the ‘reveal’ can be incorporated and how the use of various materials and printing technologies can maximise the effect.
