GlenDronach, the Aberdeenshire whisky distillery, has introduced batch seven in its Grandeur series. This limited edition expression has been matured for over 25 years exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks then bottled at 50.6% abv.
Master distiller Billy Walker crafted Grandeur from GlenDronach’s oldest Oloroso sherry casks - a vast selection of barrels, hogsheads, puncheons and butts that have been maturing in the traditional dunnage warehouses since the 1960s.
The release is limited to 1180 individually numbered bottles, each a unique Highland single malt.
