Distributor Love Drinks, has appointed Samantha Burke in the new role of head of sales and marketing. Samantha began her role at the beginning of December.
Samantha has over 20 years of experience within the premium drinks industry, working with brands such as Appleton, Campari and Wray and Nephew as well as with start-up brands such as Polstar Vodka, Solidarnosc Vodka and Hendricks Gin. Her roles over the years have encompassed trade marketing, sales, brand management and creating strategic events and activations.
She will be responsible for leading the sales and marketing teams in their delivery of Love Drinks’s growth ambitions. She will report into Kirsty Loveday, the founder and chief executive officer of Love Drinks.
Speaking of Samantha’s appointment, Kirsty comments: “Samantha has extensive cross category knowledge and brand launch experience. Through her professionalism, Samantha has earned the respect of her peers, has excellent contacts throughout the UK and has built and maintained key relationships. Her expert knowledge is key to her ability in identifying trends and ensuring a proactive approach to an ever-changing market.
