A new range of British wines called Willow & Stone has been developed by Kingsland Drinks. The range comprises a still white, still rosé and a rosé fizz.
The range was created in response to research from Kingsland’s proprietary research tool WinePRO, which it claims showed a clear need for an affordable, fresh tasting wine for spontaneous occasions.
During independent consumer research by Wirral Sensory Services, Kingsland claims that Willow & Stone was preferred both in terms of taste and appearance, with higher acceptance and greater purchase intent than either of the two category market leaders.
Jo Taylorson, marketing controller, Kingsland Drinks says: “We know from our research that the beginners, or millennials, are looking for wines that will suit multiple usage occasions; at home, dinner with friends or as a gift. Willow & Stone answers that need. We were also able to create a premium tasting fizz using our carbonation line which responds to the increased thirst for sparkling products.”
The range has an RRP of £3.39 for the still and £3.99 for fizz and is available now.
