Kopparberg, the Swedish cider producer, has launched the Kopparberg Sparkling Rosé Cider.
Initially to be stocked exclusively in ASDA stores from February, Kopparberg’s premium 7% Sparkling Rosé Cider will be available in Strawberry and Raspberry fruit flavours.
Following the success of the limited-edition KopparKeg last summer, Sparkling Rosé Cider is the newest shareable proposition from Kopparberg that aims to extend fruit cider into the traditional sparkling wine drinking occasion.
Kopparberg Sparkling Rosé Cider will be packaged in a 750ml bottle.
Rob Salvesen, senior marketing manager at Kopparberg comments: “The continued growth of the sparkling wine market has undoubtedly, in part, been down to the shareable drinking occasions consumers associated in the trial last year with the products in the category. The success of our KopparKeg also demonstrated that fruit cider drinkers are increasingly looking for propositions that can be shared and enjoyed with friends and family. That’s why we’re excited to be adding Sparkling Rosé to our range, a premium cider alternative for the traditional sparkling wine drinking occasion.”
Kopparberg Sparkling Rosé Cider has an ABV of 7% and will be available in two variants – Strawberry and Raspberry. Initially exclusive to ASDA stores across the UK from the beginning of February, it will have an RRP of £6.50.
