Bollinger releases limited edition rosé box

Bollinger Champagne has released  a limited edition vintage rosé Champagne in a gift box, available exclusively through Brown Thomas in Ireland.

The metal gift box weaves and melts together the letters of Bollinger in a moucharaby latticework of shadows and rose gold reflections.

The liquid inside is from the 2006 vintage, which was particularly suited to Pinot Noir.

Bollinger Champagne claims that the harvest inspired its cellar master to blend a cuvée that would be able to fully express the identity of the year, and thus it is Bollinger's very first limited edition vintage, exclusively dedicated to a rosé.

The blend is composed of 72% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay, and the addition of 7% still red wine lends to a salmon pink colour.

10 years was needed to let this wine age.

Bollinger Rosé 2006 will be available exclusively from the Brown Thomas Dublin Marvel Room from 20 October, for an RRP of €110.
