The WSTA has unveiled the theme for its 2014 annual conference which will focus on ‘new opportunities in traditional industries’ within the wine and spirit industry. The conference will explore how branding, innovation and digital communications play and integral part in consumer engagement.
The WSTA Annual Conference has established itself as a leading wine and spirit industry event, providing a forum for industry leaders to consider the major issues facing the trade. This year’s conference will be held in the afternoon and will be followed by an early evening drinks reception to allow attendees the opportunity to network. The conference will be chaired by WSTA Chairman, Nick Hyde and will include a key note address from WSTA Chief Executive, Miles Beale.
Following the success of last year’s event, the conference will feature a major key note speaker from outside the trade. A panel discussion will also feature industry and non-industry experts and will be chaired by Simon Jack, the Today programme’s Business Editor. More details about speakers will be released in coming weeks.
Tickets are already selling well for the conference and the WSTA is urging people to book early to avoid disappointment. Tickets can be booked online at: https://www.wstaevents.co.uk/event-calendar.
The conference is being held at One Great George Street, Westminister, London SW1P 3AA and opens with coffee from 2.00pm with the conference starting at 2.30pm. The event concludes with a drinks reception that will run from 5:30pm – 8pm.
