One of the United States' leading Australian wine brands, Alice White, nationally distributed by Constellation Wines US (CWUS) and known for its distinctively colourful labels, is introducing three of its award-winning varietals: Chardonnay; Lexia, produced from Moscato grapes; and Shiraz in 500ml Tetra Pak cartons.
The wines have suggested retail price of US$4.99. CWUS believes the modern US consumer seeks “quality wines at affordable prices” and that a significant share of those who have not experienced boxed wines are willing to try them.
"Alice White will be introducing consumers to a new concept that redefines how wine can be consumed, shared and enjoyed," said Jo Andrews, Alice White brand manager. "In the last year, wine in Tetra Pak cartons has grown almost 50 percent in volume sales in the US and we saw an amazing opportunity to extend our core wines into Tetra Pak cartons to meet the needs of today’s consumers seeking quality and value as well as convenience with less waste for the environment.”
These new containers are available immediately.
