Magrez and Robuchon form partnership

Described as the “perfect fusion of an international wine impresario and a culinary genius”, Bernard Magrez and Joël Robuchon have come together to offer sublime food and wine pairings.

Bernard Magrez, one of France’s best-known wine producers and owner of 35 vineyards worldwide, and Joel Robuchon, world renowned chef and founder of 16 gastronomic restaurants with a record collection of 25 Michelin stars, have formed a gastronomic partnership.

A selection of Bernard Magrez’s wines, including the 2004 La Tour Carnet Rouge, 1995 Chateau Pape Clement, 2005 Clementin Rouge and 2005 Fombrauge Rouge, is now available by the glass and bottle in all Joel Robuchon restaurants.  And, later this year, a series of exclusively written Joel Robuchon recipes will be featured on the Bernard Magrez website.

Bernard Magrez says about the partnership: “The pleasure of tasting cannot really blossom without variety, contrast and different emotions. Wine lovers, like the lovers of fine cuisine, desire that pleasure more than ever. Without new tastes, both in food and wine, our very senses fade.”

Joël Robuchon says: "The concept is a winning one as it has responded to the needs and desire of today’s gourmands and business men – top quality fresh products, a relaxed service and an affordable bill. We would now like to offer, alongside Bernard Magrez, exceptional food and wine pairings in all my restaurants, to continue meeting the evolving desires of consumers.”
