Old hands support Ian Macleod

Ian Macleod Distillers, is taking the UK and Ireland distribution of its spirits brands in-house as Harvey Miller Wine and Spirit Agencies decides to concentrate on its wine business.

To support the operation, the bottler and distiller has recruited two experts: Alan Wardrop, who joins from HMWSA, to manage sales to warehouses and specialist shops; and Neil Boyd, formerly global brand director for Bacardi’s Dewars, as commercial director to look after UK business, including sales to the major multiple retailers.
