Stoli gets new chief marketing officer

Marco Ferrari has become SPI Group’s chief marketing officer, to drive forward Stolichnaya Premium Vodka’s global strategy.

Ferrari was director of marketing and strategic development at Fratelli Branca Distillerie, Italy, where he was responsible for brands such as Fernet-Branca, Brancamenta, Sambuca Oro Borghetti and Carpano vermouth range. Prior to this, he spent 12 years with Bacardi.

Ferrari joins Stolichnaya at a time when the SPI Group is investing heavily in the brand, with the recent launch of an advertising campaign in the US and with "product development in the pipeline".
