Distillery launches 14YO

The Arran Malt 14 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the 15 year-old Scottish independent distiller based in Lochranza, Isle of Arran. The new whisky is bottled without any chill-filtration at 46% ABV and uses no artificial colouring.

The distillery is also expecting to make its first profit since opening its doors in 1995 - this is anticipated to be £35,000-£40,000.

Says MD Euan Mitchell: “For a distillery of our age and size, and because of whisky’s maturation period, it was always accepted that it would take time to deliver profitability. Seeing as the Isle of Arran Distillery was purpose built from scratch, this is clear recognition of the progress we are making.”
