At the London Inyernational Wine Fair, wine merchants and PET experts Roger Harris Wines and Paul Sapin introduced PE capsules on their small PET wine bottle range to make them fully recyclable.
Both Khulu Sky, a range of South African varietals, and La Perle by Paul Sapin – an elegant French selection, will be available in 75cl and 18.7cl multi-layer MLP PET bottles with the new PE capsule.
The multi-layer MLP PET bottles provide a complete mechanical barrier to oxygen and are proven to be over five times more effective than standard mono-layer PET in keeping wine fresh.
Research has shown wine in the MLP stays fresh for at least two years. Paul Sapin guarantees its wines with the MLP logo for up to 12 months.
A Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon from Languedoc now join the Syrah Rosé in the La Perle range. They replace the Merlot and Chardonnay
