Amcor, the global manufacturer of screw caps and capsules was joined by a number of well-known wine-growers on its stand at LIWF this month (May 2011). The producers explained to visitors why they chose the Stelvin(R) screw cap and its advantages which led them to opt for this closure.
They were: Hermanuspietersfontein – South Africa, Casa Lapostolle – Chile, Radanovic – Serbia, André Lurton – France, The Domaine Henri Bourgeois – France & New Zealand, Planeta – Italy, and Kutjevo – Croatia.
Adam Gray, the Michelin-star-rated chef from Rhodes Twenty Four, one of London's leading restaurants, served up four culinary creations, each matched to wines from these producers – combinations that allowed the individual wine's characteristics to shine through.
