US artist designs legacy champagne box

Champagne House Perrier-Jouët is celebrating 200 years with the introduction of Bi-Centenaire Living Legacy – a champagne vintage chosen for its aging capacity and designed to be passed on to future generations.

The packaging reflects a sculpture by American artist Daniel Arsham which was unveiled at a star-studded celebratory pary in Paris.

Bi-Centenaire is available in very limited quantities (100 pieces only) at 10,000 Euros

Arsham: "It was this spirit of Perrier-Jouët continuity that I wanted to illustrate by creating a diptych that combined the essence of Perrier-Jouët and my universe. My inspiration came from the detail of Emile Gallé’s anemone"
