Bowmore 1982 is released

Bowmore, distiller of the first Islay single malt whisky, has released a second limited edition in its vintage series, the Bowmore 1982.

Aged for 29 years in Bowmore’s Number 1 Vaults, beaten by the waves of the North Atlantic, 501 bottles of this rare expression are now available. The Bowmore 1982 (RRP £300) 47.3% ABV.

Presented in a wooden gift box with a ‘weather-beaten’ brown leather strap and copper buckle, each bottle is also accompanied by a numbered certificate signed by the distillery manager Eddie MacAffer, who has been working at the distillery for over 40 years.
