Portuguese oenologist and producer João Portugal Ramos has restyled the image of his wines from the Alentejo to reflect the modern approach of the company while respecting the region and tradition.
The new identity focuses on diagonal lines, which are designed to represent the slopes of the Alentejo and the walls of Estremoz Castle thus linking the wines to their heritage. This connection to the land through the packaging of the wines reflects Joao’s enthusiasm for nature, as well as the values that he insists are present across all of his brands.
While the main elements of the old branding remains, such as the Loios lettering or the Marquês de Borba coat of arms the new diagonal lines and institutional signature provide unity across the group therefore aiding consumers in identifying wines produced by the João Portugal Ramos group.
