New Gallo summer wine style launching in UK

This summer, Gallo Family Vineyards will introduce Gallo Moscato – a "lusciously sweet" and fruity white wine style with notes of peach, citrus, pineapple and orange blossom.

In the US, sales of Moscato are said to be soaring as hip-hop artists Kanye West, Lil Kim and Drake pen lyrics to the new wine drinking trend.

Best served well chilled on ice, it is a light to medium bodied wine with a refreshingly low ABV of just 8.65%.

Gallo Moscato will be launched in June 2012, with an RRP of £6.79, at UK retailers including ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Co-op.
