New wraparound labels and new tiers

Vidal, the oldest boutique winery in Hawkes Bay, has unveiled a fresh, contemporary new look to its labels, retaining the familiarity of the Vidal flame while highlighting the history of the estate and the premium nature of the brand.  

The Vidal flame is a feature of the White Series and Reserve Series labels which, for the first time, feature an eye-catching wrap-around design. This leads consumers to the Vidal story and to a QR code enabling instant access to further information. The flame is used to signify Vidal’s passion, which started with founder, Anthony Joseph Vidal, for sharing wine with good friends and great food. The Vidal logo has been updated to include ‘Since 1905’, emphasising the heritage of the brand.

Alongside the new labels Vidal has added two new premium tiers – the Reserve Series and the Legacy Series.

 Two wines from the new Reserve Series have been introduced to the UK this March – a Sauvignon Blanc and a Pinot Noir. And from the new Legacy Series – representing "the ultimate expression of the region" – a Syrah and a Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot are now available in the UK (via UK agent Hatch Mansfield).
