Smarter gift tins

Crown Speciality Packaging Europe is now producing seated end tins that are said to offer reduced lead times and enhanced supply chain reliability. The format, which gives a crisp, clean premium look, is ideal for the luxury and limited edition markets.

Crown’s seated end technology can initially be applied to 100 x 100mm tins with a variety of heights according requirements. Additional sizes and shapes will be launched, Crown says, in the near future. Crown’s in-house design team can assist brand owners develop packaging designs with the ideal finish, print quality and colour control to highlight brand messaging and enhance on shelf impact.

 

Seated end means the tin’s bottom curl is inverted so that when the pack is on a flat surface, the curl is hidden from view. It creates a stronger tin with pure lines
