Exclusive Irish single cask pot still whiskey

At the end of October, Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard and the Irish Whiskey Society (IWS) launched The Irish Whiskey Society single cask pot still whiskey at the Old Jameson Distillery in Dublin. The 204 bottles of 17 year old, 55.2% ABV whiskey are from a cask selected by IWS members back in April and available exclusively to IWS members.

Single Pot Still Whiskey is unique to Ireland and to the Midleton Distillery in Co. Cork in particular. Made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley that is then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills, this style of whiskey is renowned for its full, complex flavours and smooth, creamy mouth feel.
