Baron Philippe de Rothschild’s Mouton Cadet, the top selling Bordeaux wine, has been the official wine supplier to Cannes Film Festival (May 15-26) for 22 years. This year, in celebration of the 66th festival, Mouton Cadet Edition Spéciale Cannes 2013 will be unveiled.
This limited edition collectors bottle will be tasted every day at official opening and closing dinners, Plage and Hôtel Majestic, Patio Canal +, Nikki Beach, and La Plage Orange. Also, at the Mouton Cadet Wine Bar that will be, for the third year running, situated facing the sea on the Festival Palace rooftop and meeting place for celebrities.
Madame de Rothschild chose the bottle design, which the Festival de Cannes then validated. The design, which is enamelled directly onto the bottles, features elements communicating the premium film universe (such as film reels) and the Festival de Cannes’ logo.
