The Alva-based craft brewer, Harviestoun, has crafted a new lager exclusively for Marks & Spencer.
Marks & Spencer Scottish Craft Lager (4.5%abv) has a light citrus aroma and delicate taste of grapefruit. It is brewed using Hersbrucker lager hops and is fermented at a very low temperature using lager yeast.
It has a crisp, cool, refreshing finish and leaves you wanting more. A remarkably fresh, zesty brew, it pair well with fresh seafood and almost anything from the barbeque.
Chris Miller, MD, said: “I’m thrilled that an institution as significant as Marks & Spencer recognises and appreciates the quality of the hand-crafted, premium beers we make at Harviestoun. This partnership is a testament to the passion of our brewing team as well as the good taste of the M&S buyers.”
Marks & Spencer Scottish Craft Lager is available in selected stores at £3.49 for a 750ml bottle.
