Bottle Green launches The Long White wine

Bottle Green Wines is launching a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc called ‘The Long White’ for the UK on-trade and independents in stunning packaging.

New Zealand is also known as ‘The Land of the Long White Cloud’ after the English translation of the Maori name ‘Aotearoa’. The label design of The Long White features a foiled cloud depicted in a stylish way.

The new Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a classic wine from the region with that unmistakable gooseberry character. Fresh, vibrant and crisp, with exotic herbaceous aromas and tropical and citrus fruit flavours, this wine can be paired with fish dishes, light white meats or consumed simply on its own.

The Long White is already available at Mac the Vinter in Northern Ireland and Drink Warehouse in Kent.

Spanish red label also launched

A new Spanish wine has also been launched exclusively in Morrisons stores this month which will bring a splash of colour and Spanish spirit to the wine aisle. The new £8.99 Caliente Rojo - a blend of Tempranillo and Merlot - from Bottle Green is a DO Campo de Borja and is produced by Bodegas Aragonesas.

The Caliente Rojo label is a typical Spanish poster-style picture of a red Flamenco dancer against a bright yellow background. The design of the packaging mimics the vibrancy of the wine and its name – Caliente Rojo meaning ‘red hot’.
