Artist introduces premium gin and vodka

US liquor importer and sales and marketing agency, A. Hardy, has partnered with Pay Dirt Brands of Indianapolis, Indiana, in a distribution agreement for the introduction of Michael Godard vodka and gin to the country.

Michael Godard is a best-selling modern artist who is also known internationally for his philanthropic efforts and connections to the sports, music, and entertainment industries.

Michael Godard Gin is made in Holland in a boutique 850-litre copper still. The artisan gin is produced in very small batches to maintain purity and consistency. The method includes the blending of locally grown wheat, Italian Juniper,

vanilla beans from Madagascar, and fresh fruits including oranges, lemons, and limes.

The vodka is also handmade in small batches from pure Dutch wheat that is blended with all-natural ingredients and is distilled five times.

Pay Dirt Brands president David Hunter says: “original Michael Godard art appears on the individually numbered Collector’s Edition bottles. Each bottle may be registered on the Pay Dirt Brands website, after which a collectible 8 X 10 inch certificate of authenticity will be provided to the consumer.” He adds: “The original Godard art on stunning black bottles will draw attention and spark interest when displayed on retail shelves and back bars.” The packaging art will change on an annual basis.

A. Hardy USA president Mark Levinson is enthusiastic about Godard’s new products: “Michael Godard vodka and gin are brand new products from a well known artist that are packaged in visually striking bottles adorned with colourful artwork. We fully expect that these products will become the new standard in the premium vodka and gin categories here in the United States.”

The gin and vodka are 80% proof, 40% abv. The gin has an ARP of US$35.99, and the vodka US$31.99. Both products are packaged in 75cl bottles and will soon be available nationally.
