Eric Vallat is the new CEO at Rémy Martin

Eric Vallat has joined the Rémy Cointreau as CEO of the House of Rémy Martin.

After graduating from the HEC business school in Paris in 1993, Eric Vallat began his career in investment banking before rapidly joining the luxury goods group, Louis Vuitton. Following three years’ experience in the field, he was appointed the brand’s MD responsible for France, and subsequently Europe, before being appointed chairman and representative director of Christian Dior Japan in 2004.

Since his return to Paris in January 2008, he has been chairman of Bonpoint, a brand that he helped to develop over a period of six years, and in 2009 he was also appointed by the EPI Group as MD of J.M. Weston.

Eric Vallat will assume overall responsibility for the House of Rémy Martin and “continue the Group’s policy of adding value and maintaining the reputation for quality of the Rémy Martin and Louis XIII brands”.
