Nik Koster to boost profile of Langley's No 8

Charter Brands has appointed Nik Koster a dedicated PR and marketing manager for Langley’s No.8, as part of its investment in Langley’s No.8 Gin’s profile in the UK.

Koster, who was heavily involved in the PR campaign that covered the launch of Langley’s No.8 Gin, will be working on the brand full time to boost trade and consumer recruitment.

Nik will work closely with business development manager and brand ambassador, Jonathan Zammit-Tabona, drinks expert with  over 11 years experience in worldwide drinks industry, to build the brand further in London and, will also evolve and execute the UK marketing strategy.

Mark Dawkins, a Charter Brands founder, says: “We have been very careful to invest in the correct areas and, to have a dedicated PR & marketing manager for Langley’s No.8, will see a real impact in the reach of the brand in the UK.

“Nik was the standout candidate, not only for his existing knowledge of our brand but, also, because of his passion, enthusiasm, profile & network within the drinks industry.”

“The appointment of Nik, coupled with the investment in the role Jonathan is already fulfilling, is a statement of our intent to make Langley’s No.8 a stand out gin in the tough category.

Koster adds: “I have a very busy year ahead with a summer of consumer shows, the introduction of more gin brands and a first birthday to think about in March. I am delighted to get started.”
