Roffiaen joins Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte

Centre Vinicole – Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte (CV–CNF) has appointed Guillaume Roffiaen as its director of winemaking and quality manager.

Originally from the north of France, Guillaume Roffiaen developed his passion for wine at an early age. After studying agricultural engineering and agribusiness at the Institut Superieur d’Agriculture in Lille, he was drawn to Reims, where he studied oenology. Having qualified with a national diploma

in winemaking (DNO) in 2002, his career began with a work placement at CV-CNF where he worked alongside Jean-Pierre Vincent, chief winemaker at the time.

He subsequently joined the team at Champagne Drappier, where he gained twelve years’ experience as chief winemaker, becoming well versed in the disciplines of quality control and winemaking.

With a wealth of specialised winemaking expertise, coupled with his grasp of the impeccable winemaking procedures of Champagne, Guillaume Roffiaen is well equipped to drive the development and positioning of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte across all relevant markets.

His key role will be in overseeing quality levels throughout the entire winemaking process. He will also be responsible for R&D, leading the winemaking committee and working in close collaboration with chief winemaker David Henault, who will also form part of his team, making the blends and coordinating all wine-related internal and external communications for CV–CNF.
