Firestarter Moldovan vodka arrives in the UK

Molvino Fine Wines and Spirits is launching its latest offering Firestarter vodka in the UK.

The independent distributor, which has offices in Leeds, Dubai and Istanbul, develops and sources drinks globally, but predominantly form Eastern Europe.

Firestarter vodka originates from the Republic of Moldova, where after 200 years of Russian rule, distillers have refined the ancient vodka making traditions to make the smooth spirit that comes from the region today.

The traditional 19th century recipe uses winter wheat triple distilled and five times platinum filtration. During the final distillation, Firestarter is also infused with honey to give extra body and richness to make it enjoyable as a shot, cocktail or with a mixer.

Mark Ingam, business development manager at Molvino says: “Our focus as a company is to develop the very best products in the world that offer distinct taste profiles and unique packaging.  Firestarter vodka is already a huge success across Europe, US and Australia and we are looking to emulate that success here in the UK.”

The glass bottle is encased in an eye catching cartonboard canister with aluminium ends and a plastica bartender-friendly, high speed pour spout with twist off valve cap; Firestarter vodka is already reported as being a big hit with bar tenders and mixologists.

Firestarter vodka cocktail:

1 ½ oz Firestarter vodka
1oz Triple Sec
1oz peach schnapps
1oz sloe gin
Coca Cola
Combine all ingredients into a tumbler glass over ice. Stir well and serve.

Firestarter vodka is currently available in 70cl bottles within the UK and  a special 1litre addition is expected soon.
