Guy Anderson unveils Poquito Moscato fizz

Guy Anderson Wines took a dedicated stand at this year’s London Wine Fair to introduce Poquito Moscato to the UK market, targeting the independents and on-trade in particular.

With its distinctive retro-style label on a 375ml fizz bottle and a colourful crown cap, the brand is something a little different. Off to a flying start in export markets, Poquito is destined to make a splash in the UK this summer.

“With the current trend towards lighter alcohol wines and with sweeter styles such as Moscato becoming increasingly popular amongst consumers, we anticipate a lot of interest in Poquito” says Guy Anderson. “The packaging has real pop and reaction to the brand in the US, Canada and Europe has been tremendous”.

In the US, major retail chains such as Costplus World Markets and Wholefoods are already featuring Poquito and it is also to be found on many restaurant wine lists nationwide. The LCBO in Canada and Albert Heijn in the Netherlands are other significant stockists.

The wine is described as ‘a little sweet and a little fizzy’ and comes from dynamic Valencia producer Anecoop. GAW’s winemaker, Norrel Robertson MW, supervises production in order to achieve the desired quality. Poquito is refreshingly balanced and with gentle bubbles in a frizzante style.

Presented in a 375ml green glass bottle with crown cap, Poquito Moscato is 100% Moscato, 5%abv, and has a RRP of £2.99.
