The latest piece to be added to the Ruinart Collection has been created by young Scottish artist, Georgia Russell. The new Collection design takes its inspiration from the historic chalk cellars of the House of Ruinart.
A graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, Russell’s signature style sees the scalpel replace the pencil as she cuts into and transforms old books, prints and photographs, creating something original and beautiful. The Ruinart design, which will decorate limited edition bottles of the House’s flagship champagne, the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs, combines Russell’s artistic style while taking a creative look at the House of Ruinart to produce a contemporary interpretation of the Ruinart chalk quarries.
Just 2,325 of these Collection pieces will be available internationally with a UK RRP of £95.
Frédéric Panaïotis, Ruinart chef de caves, says: “This beautiful addition to our Collection, reflects not only the splendour of our cellars, but also the timeless elegance of our champagnes. Georgia Russell is a very talented young artist and we are delighted to be able to work with her on this project.”
