Beefeater 24 has unveiled a new ‘Quintessentially British’ limited edition gift pack, designed by the winner of the 2013 Beefeater 24 Inspires competition, Vauxhall-based illustrator Glenn Hin, which will be rolling out in key markets worldwide during 2014.
The limited edition gift pack, which will be sold at the brand’s newly-opened visitor centre at the distillery in Kennington, London, priced at £56, showcases a multi-dimensional design by talented South London-based illustrator Hin, inspired by Beefeater 24’s taste profile and the theme ‘Distinguished British Country Chic’.
Hin’s design evokes images of the quintessential British summer; with secret gardens, sophisticated summer parties, cocktail glasses, tennis rackets all portrayed in the packaging. Upon opening the pack, a set of well-groomed shrubs emerges in front of gates to a country house, behind which a bottle of Beefeater 24 is encased.
The elegant illustration also brings to mind the 12 botanicals used to create Beefeater 24 and highlights this upmarket gin’s suitability for cocktails. The recipe for Beefeater 24’s Gin & Tea cocktail - a refreshing modern interpretation of the classic Iced Tea - also features on the limited edition pack.
For those looking to organise the ultimate quintessentially British summer party, invitation and thank you card templates featuring Hin’s design can be downloaded from Beefeater 24’s website, beefeatergin.com/24/limited-edition
Beefeater 24 has also linked up with British chef Mark Hix this summer to provide the ultimate food and drinks line-up for the quintessential British summer garden party. Hix has created a series of canapés to partner Beefeater 24 cocktails and can be re-created at home for entertaining. The canapés will be showcased at Mark Hix’s newest London restaurant – Bishopsgate’s Hixter City - from July until the beginning of September 2014.
