St Petersburg sleeves for Russian Standard

Rémy Cointreau Global Travel Retail will introduce a new limited edition duty-free exclusive full sleeve label design for Russian Standard Vodka at the TFWA World Exhibition next month.

The Russian Standard St Petersburg limited edition bottle design is a duty-free exclusive and the second in the company’s series celebrating classic Russian craft. The fine filigree pattern on the full bottle sleeve represents the artistic heritage of the baroque city St Petersburg, the ‘Venice of the North’ and the home of Russian Standard Vodka.

This is only the second time worldwide that there has been a special edition pack on the Russian Standard brand, and global travel retail has been chosen for the exclusive launch. It will reach outlets in November and be priced in line with Russian Standard Original.

This special packaging is expected to build on the success of the Russian Standard brand in global travel retail where it is the fourth premium vodka brand (IWSR) selling over 200,000 9-litre cases, demonstrating particularly strong growth on the premium mix of Russian Standard Gold and Russian Standard Platinum.

“The St Petersburg sleeve will target the gifting opportunity and build on the brands overall success,” says Andrew Notcutt, GTR marketing director at Russian Standard.
