Lucas Bols has launched a new seasonal flavour for the North American market, Bols Pumpkin Spice Liqueur, which joins a portfolio of over 30 flavours now available in the US.
Says Lucas Bols master distiller, Piet van Leijenhorst: “BolsPumpkin Spice is a nice blend of fall spices, like nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves, roasted nuts, and harvest pumpkin. The finish is smooth and comforting with hints of baked cinnamon and aromatic pumpkin. It is best enjoyed in a seasonal cocktail or alongside your favourite fall dessert after dinner.”
Bols Pumpkin Spice 21% ABV is now available in bars and stores across the States at a RRP of US$11.99 for a 750ml bottle.
Suggested cocktails:
Pumpkin Martini
2 oz Bols Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
1 oz spiced rum
½ oz Bols Yogurt Liqueur
Shake all ingredients together. Strain into a cocktail glass
Pumpkin Punch
2 parts Bols Pumpkin Spice Liqueur
6 parts Unsweetened iced tea
3 parts spiced rum
½ part lemon juice
Build all ingredients in a glass or punch bowl and stir. Serve in a hollowed out pumpkin for best effect. Garnish with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top and a 1 inch cube of dry ice
