The ninth installment in Woodford Reserve’s Master’s Collection series, the Woodford Reserve Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir Finish, is claimed to be the first whiskey aged in California Pinot Noir barrels.
Created by the American whiskey’s master distiller Chris Morris and developed in conjunction with Sonoma-Cutrer winemaking director Mick Schroeter, the blend features a fruit-forward flavour profile formed by the Burgundian style Pinot Noir barrels used in the aging process.
For a deeper look inside this release, watch the product video, featuring Chris and Mick discussing their inspiration.
Available for purchase in select US and international markets beginning in mid-October, the Sonoma-Cutrer Pinot Noir Finish has a RRP of US$99.99 for 75cl.
