Broadland Wineries launch a chocolate wine

Broadland Wineries is launching Chocolate Drop – a blend of red British Wine with dark chocolate flavours.

Chocolate Drop has been developed by Arabella Woodrow MW and the new product development team at Broadlands to suit the UK palate and all those who adore chocolate. The wine has the added merit of being suitable for vegetarians and vegans, which many mainstream milk chocolate bars are not.

This smooth red British Wine is described as having “aromas of dark chocolate and black cherry with notes of mocha and vanilla – richly sweet with luscious chocolate character complemented by black fruit flavours for freshness and balance”.

Chocolate Drop’s stylish label pays homage to traditional luxury chocolate packaging, using appropriate typography and colours which convey class and elegance.

There has been a steady growth in the popularity of sweeter styles of wine and Chocolate Drop has already secured a listing with Sainsbury’s where it is available with immediate effect, RSP £6.00.

Mark Lansley, CEO of Broadland Wineries comments: “Chocolate Drop is another excellent example of Broadland’s ability to deliver a product that is better quality and value than other products previously available. This is evidenced by the speed at which our new product is gaining listings and sales, without any advertising.”
