Inver House releases anCnoc 18YO single malt

An 18 year old expression of anCnoc Highland single malt Scotch whisky has been released by Inver House's Knockdhu Distillery. An initial 6,000 bottles will be available globally.

Matured in hand selected Spanish oak ex-sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon casks, each 70cl bottle will have an RRP of £70 and an ABV of 46%. On the palate, the non chill-filtered single malt is bursting with oriental spices and toasted vanilla, with a full bodied taste and a surge of honey and caramel to finish.

The packaging stays true to anCnoc’s trademark minimalistic style, featuring an artful depiction of the landscape surrounding Knockdhu.

anCnoc Assistant Brand Manager, Stephanie Bridge comments: “2014 has been anCnoc’s most ambitious year to date. We unveiled our new Peaty Collection in April, two new expressions for global travel retail and our hugely popular 2000 Vintage. We are confident that our new anCnoc 18 years old will be extremely popular amongst single malt aficionados with its unique taste profile and striking packaging.”
