Moonshine set to light up the party season

Firefly Moonshine, a range of flavoured spirits supplied in jars, offers pubs and bars a new and interesting serve as the peak party season approaches.

Distributed in the UK by Hi-Spirits, Firefly Moonshine is produced at the Firefly Distillery in South Carolina. Owners Jim Irvin and Scott Newitt have built on the success of Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka, one of the most successful launches in the US spirits market of recent years, to create the Moonshine range.

Produced in the distillery’s two homemade pot stills, Firefly Moonshine is supplied in traditional mason jars, and is designed to be served as a shot or with a mixer as a long drink. Along with original White Lightning clear spirit, flavours include Apple Pie, Caramel, Cherry, Peach, Strawberry and Blackberry, with ABVs ranging from 29.10% to 30.45%.

Each jar is supplied with a unique pour spout that allows bar staff to serve a shot of Moonshine quickly and simply from the jar.

Dan Bolton, managing director of Hi-Spirits, said: “Firefly Moonshine has a real prohibition era feel to it, thanks to the mason jar packaging and the novelty of the straight-from-the-jar serve. For pubs and bars attracting groups of customers on a night out in the run-up to Christmas, the range offers a real point of difference.”
