Isle of Skye Whisky unveils 18 and 21YO blends

Isle of Skye Blended Scotch Whisky, owned by one of Scotland’s leading, independent family-owned distillers, Ian Macleod Distillers, has launched an 18 Year Old and 21 Year Old as limited editions. The new expressions are an extension to the current range that includes an 8YO, 12YO, and a limited edition 50YO, of which only 400 bottles were produced.

Neil Boyd, commercial director of malts for Ian Macleod Distillers, says: “The Isle of Skye Blended Scotch Whisky range was created based on a 19th century family recipe that blends distinctive peaty Island and mellow Speyside malts. Unusually for blends, each whisky in the recipe has been aged for a minimum of eight years. The addition of the 18 and 21YO whiskies will provide consumers with a superb high quality alternative to the standard 8 and 12YO within the range.”

The RRP for the 18 and 21YO is £85.00 and £125.00 respectively. Both are available from Harrods and the Isle of Skye Blended Scotch Whisky online shop.
