David Tromans has joined Buckingham Schenk as marketing and new product development manager. He will have two main roles – taking over Buckingham’s extensive product development programme and developing the company’s brand marketing and social media presence, both in terms of Buckingham Schenk itself, Viñalba and other Schenk brands.
David was previously at Enotria as insights and innovations manager where he led and managed all new product development projects from conception through to launch as well as improved the business’s consumer and market insights capability. Prior to this David held a variety of roles at the WSTA, Berry Bros. & Rudd and Cellier des Dauphins and has been in the wine trade for over 15 years.
Commenting on the appointment, Craig Durham, managing director of Buckingham Schenk said: “We’re delighted to welcome David to Buckingham; his breadth of experience in product development and the wine industry is a fantastic addition to the team. We are confident that his marketing and NDP knowledge along with his social media awareness will be a real asset to the company and that he will help us develop our existing brand base as well as aiding the growth of new products.”
