Kilbeggan 8YO launches in European duty free

Beam Suntory is introducing Kilbeggan 8YO single grain Irish whiskey across European travel retail this month to tap into the category’s strong growth in the channel.

As Ireland’s only aged single grain whiskey, Kilbeggan 8YO single grain is a premium expression made from 100% corn, making it a versatile, soft and subtly sweet expression, appealing to aficionados of single malts, aged blends and bourbon.

This grain whiskey is distilled in column stills and matured for eight years in ex-bourbon barrels in the distillery’s 250-year-old warehouses. It has an ABV of 40% and is available in 70cl bottles.

Kilbeggan is distributed n European travel retail by Maxxium Travel Retail.

Kilbeggan 8YO Single Grain has the distinction of being Ireland’s only aged single grain Irish whiskey. Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey continues to be made in the traditional way, using the oldest working pot still in Ireland – over 180 years old – and the original warehouses from 1757.

The packaging for Kilbeggan 8YO and 21YO was designed by Bulletproof.
