Jeff Gradwell has been appointed as group sales and marketing executive at Stellenbosch Vineyards in South Africa.
Jeff started his working career in the wine industry back in 1991 with Stellenbosch Farmers Winery (now part of Distell) in quality control before he was promoted to international brand manager for Nederburg.
Following this he joined Cabrière, the home of the Haute Cabrière and Pierre Jourdan Brands, as general manager/ business and marketing where he focused on identifying and responding to key opportunities. During his tenure, the company saw a substantial growth in its bottom line.
Previously Jeff held the position of brand director at KWV where he was part of the wine team that developed the overall strategy for KWV wines in alignment with the company strategy, resulting in a healthy bottom line.
He holds a MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, an Honours Degree in Microbiology from the University of Witwatersrand and a diploma from the Cape Wine Academy.
