Christine Scharrer joins Boisset sales team

Christine Scharrer has been appointed European sales manager for the Californian portfolio of Boisset Collection, which includes: Raymond Vineyards (Napa Valley), DeLoach Vineyards (Russian River Valley), California’s Oldest Premium Winery - Buena Vista Winery (Sonoma), Lyeth Estate (Sonoma County), Lockwood Vineyards (Monterey), and lifestyle brands, JCB by Jean-Charles Boisset and Amberhill.

With this appointment, Boisset strengthens its sales objectives in the European market with an on-site representative. Scharrer holds the Diplom-Kulturwirtin in International Business and Cultural Studies and an MBA in Wine Marketing & Management from Bordeaux’s Groupe INSEEC gained during her European sales experience at fine wine merchants, Mähler-Besse (Bordeaux) and Bodega Vicente Gandia (Valencia). In her previous position, she was the national sales director of Balthasar Ress winery in the Rheingau (VDP Member). Christine Scharrer is also accredited with the WSET-Diploma in Wines & Spirits and has been recognized by the German Wine Institute as well as by Vinissima (Women in Wine Business Association). Scharrer is based in Germany.
