Cider moves into sleek cans for premium look

Stella Artois Cidre has been given new premium look for the on-trade. The more compact Sleek Cans aim to cater for growing demand for premium serves. 

The new format will be available initially for the Cidre Raspberry, Cidre Peach and Cidre Elderflower variants and will provide consumers with a smaller stylish format to add to larger serve Cidre packaging.

Emily Kraftman, senior brand manager at Stella Artois says: “With the launch of new and smaller Cidre bottle variants in Raspberry, Peach and Elderflower over the last 12 months, we have noticed the success of smaller formats.

“The new Sleek Cans for our fruit Cidre variants tap into the ever-growing trend within the UK on-trade environment for premium canned drinks as pubs and bars look to diversify their packaged ranges and offer more choice in the fridge.”

The Stella Artois Cidre Sleek Can variants will be sold in single 330ml cans in a variety of venues. The cans cater for changing consumer tastes towards more compact serving sizes and are exceptionally efficient with fridge space and chill faster than bottles.
