New appointment for Inveralmond Brewery

In a bid to support commercial development in the UK on-trade environment, craft brewer Inveralmond of Scotland has appointed Stephen Annand to head up its latest drive for growth.

Formerly head of on-trade sales for Magners GB, Stephen brings his wealth of industry experience to the role with major FMCG brands including Tennent Caledonian Breweries, AB-Inbev and Anheuser-Busch.

Managing director Fergus Clark is excited about his appointment and its potential for the expansion of the brewery over the coming year: “Steve has extensive experience of driving success and he has a proven track record of delivering revenue growth, expanding market share and increasing profitability. We are excited by his fresh and energetic approach to the role and we have every expectation that he will be a key driver of the brewery’s next phase of planned growth. We are absolutely delighted that Steve has moved into the exciting and fast moving craft sector and are sure that his contribution will be significant, particularly in driving forward our on-trade sales of cask and, increasingly, keg.”

Commercial director, Bob Hogg, states: “We are delighted to have Steve join our team and his on-trade experience will be greatly valued as we continue to develop our relationships with key on-trade customers within our business. He brings a strong pedigree of talent and experience to the table and we’re very much looking forward to working with him.”

Business development director, Steve Annand, comments: “I’ve been very warmly welcomed by the team at Inveralmond Brewery and I’m looking forward to getting started and meeting with our on-trade customers over the coming weeks and months. The brewery has made a name for itself on the UK’s craft brewing map and I’m delighted to be joining them to help them continue to expand.”
