London’s Scottish restaurant Mac & Wild is launching a ready to drink cocktail range. The Scottish Cocktails range comprises four varieties including the Ginger Laddie and the Auld Pal.
The cocktails are available to buy in retailer stores, including Selfridges & Co, Whole Foods Market and The Whisky Exchange with an RRP of £29.95 per 50cl bottle.
Mac & Wild Scottish Cocktails are hand crafted small batch cocktails using Scotland’s finest whiskies and spirits married together with complimentary flavours from the depths of the Highlands. Under the watchful eye of mixologist Luke Leiper, the cocktail recipes are carefully curated and inspired by Scotland’s wild but beautiful landscape. The spirits and vermouths are macerated (or infused) with locally sourced Scottish herbs and botanicals until the right flavour balance is achieved.
Each cocktail expression is based on a classic style of drink that is easily identifiable such as a Manhattan or Old Fashioned but with a new and interesting Mac & Wild twist. Once ready they are then wax sealed making the look of the bottle both interesting and traditional.
This autumn Mac & Wild restaurant launched on London’s Great Titchfield Street, in the heart of London’s West End. Mac & Wild has been brought to London by street food sensations The Wild Game Co. Now at WGC’s first permanent home, diners are taken on a journey to the Scottish highlands, enjoying the finest wild venison, game and seafood in a rustic setting.
