The family house of Delord has added an XO Premium Bas Armagnac to its range that has been aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 25 and up to 45 years.
Kicking off with aromas of orange flower, dried apricot, candied citrus and soft spices of anis and cinnamon, this rich and powerful armagnac is full bodied with a touch of Espelette pepper in the mouth.
Unlike any of the other Delord armagnacs with their distinctive handwritten labels, the XO Premium (42% abv) comes in a totally new style 70cl premium bottle with a metallic label.
Armagnac Delord was founded in 1893 in the village of Lannepax in the Gers by Prosper Delord, a travelling distiller and has been in the same family for four generations with Jerome and Sylvain Delord now holding the reins.
