Italian winery and distillery, Bottega, has announced the appointment of Claudia Gamberucci as the company's new area manager for Middle East, Greece, Cyprus and Malta
Claudia's responsibilities will include maximizing sales and profitability for the region, establishing a clear and concise customer service package to maintain and increase sales and keeping management informed on trends in the marketplace. Gamberucci replaces Nives Perin, who left the company after 11 years, to pursue other interests, and joins an all-female team of 10 area managers.
Sandro Bottega, managing director at Bottega, says: “We are pleased to bring the new employee on board. Having previously worked as area manager in the wine business, Claudia will bring her extensive knowledge with her and will help to develop new focus and techniques in our sales department”.
Gamberucci comments: “I am honoured to be able to work with Bottega during this exciting time of expansion. Bottega is a new challenge for me: a brand with a very modern concept, focused on marketing and research, and a strong experience in the production of wines and spirits – a segment which I particularly love.” Born in Stirling, Scotland, she holds a WSET Level 3 Award in Wines and Spirits qualification, and has previous experience at companies Fattoria la Massa, Panizzi and Cuzziol Grandi Vini.
