Cognac Frapin VIP XO debuts at Prowein

Cognac Frapin has unveiled at Prowein a new VIP XO cognac in a decanter inspired by perfume bottles and inkpots, which represents the cognac’s elegant aromas and Frapin’s love for the written word. A love handed down by ancestor François Rabelais, a distinguished author and gourmand.

Frapin describe VIP XO as a cognac with rich bronze tones and a natural purity. “On the nose, VIP XO has pleasant floral notes and a beautiful aromatic complexity punctuated with subtle woody touches. An overall elegance typical of aged Cognacs from Grande Champagne.

“After its delicate aromas its power in the mouth comes as a surprise. VIP XO offers a palette of flavours, revealing in turn chocolate notes, dried fruit, candied fruit, and gingerbread. The expression is sophisticated and complex, with depth, but without losing the original freshness of the fruit.”

Frapin is responsible for the whole production process of its Cognacs. It possesses its own vines, one of the largest estates in Grande Champagne, its own distillery and of course its own ageing cellars. This gives Frapin the luxury of complete control down to the finest detail and above all, of constant renewal.

The new VIP XO is only available in 70cl.
